A Whole-Diet CSA is less about one specific box and more about how you choose to source your food.
At Caney Fork Farms, we offer both a certified Organic Vegetable Share and a Regenerative Meat Share with 100% grassfed and finished beef and lamb plus pasture-raised pork, chicken, and turkey. When you sign up for both, they work together to support the way you actually eat week to week.
That’s really the idea behind a Whole-Diet CSA. Not replacing one thing, but bringing your food together in a more complete and consistent way.
Having steady access to both regenerative, locally raised meats and organic produce starts to shift your habits without forcing it. You’re not constantly filling in gaps or wondering where the rest of your food is coming from. You start with what you have, and meals build from there.
It also makes things easier. Fewer grocery runs, fewer last minute decisions, and more trust in what you’re feeding yourself and your family.
And honestly, we find that it makes cooking more enjoyable. We send recipes each week based on what’s in season and what’s in your share, so whether you’re someone who loves being in the kitchen or just trying to get a solid meal on the table, you’ve got a starting point. You can follow them closely or just use them as a nudge in the right direction.
This approach reflects how we actually farm. The vegetables, the livestock, the pasture, and the soil are all connected. Offering both shares and letting people combine them felt like the most natural way to extend that system beyond the farm.
We really believe in the CSA model as a whole. This is just another option for folks who want to source more of their food from one place and simplify the process a bit.
A traditional CSA can be a great addition to your routine. Pairing both shares into a Whole-Diet CSA can make it feel a lot more complete.Â
If you’ve been thinking about joining a CSA or looking for a way to make your weekly food routine feel a little more complete, this is a good place to start.
We just opened up a new CSA pickup location in Hendersonville, and spots are limited as we get things up and running. You can sign up for the veggie share, the meat share, or both and build what works best for you.
